The final concert of the season. On March 29th, Ossia wrapped up their season in Kilbourn Hall at the Eastman School of Music. Ossia performs contemporary music that might not otherwise be heard at major concert venues in Rochester. I am not sure if the term “experimental” is accurate but some of the songs used instruments that I have heard before to create sounds that I have never heard before. I had never heard a grand piano plucked. The resonating sound was amazing and I could feel it in my bones.
I was impressed and truly enjoyed every concert. I am looking forward to hear what next season brings.
