Hello friends! I was looking at my calendar at the beginning of the wedding season and saw one free weekend in September. I drew a heart around the date and started talking with my honey about where we should go for vacation. We decided to get a little cabin on beautiful Long Lake in the Adirondacks. While I love spending my weekends with my brides and grooms, I knew by then I would need a few days without my camera.
We were about to leave and luckily my lady said, “Just bring the camera, you’re going to want it.” She knows me so well. We weren’t in the Adirondack State Park for more than 1 mile before I pulled off the side of the road to take a photograph.
The shots I’m sharing with you are from (in no particular order) Blue Mountain, Buttermilk Falls, the 2013 90-mile canoe race, and The Owl Head trail in Long Lake.
I hope you enjoy our vacation!
